Trauma

About

In trauma work, Brainspotting is used as a tool to help individuals locate and work through the emotional and bodily sensations tied to their traumatic experiences.

This process is believed to access the subcortical brain, where trauma is stored, allowing the client to process and release the trauma without the need for extensive verbal communication. This can be particularly helpful for those who find it hard to articulate their experiences or for whom traditional talk therapy has been insufficient.
